Common questions and how to get help.

FAQ
Minecraft won't launch after clicking Play

Make sure you've added a valid Java path in Settings → Java. Click إضافة Java and select the java.exe file from your Java installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\Java\...\bin\java.exe).

Where are my Minecraft saves and worlds?

Your saves are inside your .minecraft folder. The default location is C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves. You can change this path in Settings → Game.

How do I update Votrex?

Votrex updates automatically when a new version is available. You can also download the latest version manually from the download page.

My settings aren't saving

Settings are saved automatically in a Data/Settings.dat file next to the launcher. Make sure the launcher has write permissions in its folder. If you're using a Votrex account, settings also sync to the cloud.

How much RAM should I allocate?

Votrex auto-detects your system RAM and sets a recommended value. Generally: 4GB for vanilla, 6–8GB for modded. Don't over-allocate — leaving RAM free for your OS is important.

Is Votrex safe? Does it contain malware?

Votrex is open-source and completely safe. It doesn't modify your Minecraft files or transmit any personal data without consent. The only network requests made are to Mojang's API to fetch version information.
